In this episode, our CEO @barber.mo talks about how countless rejection and disappointment made him stronger and that no matter how hard life gives you, you just need to keep moving forward.


No matter how passionate you are, how hardworking or how much good intention you have you will still be faced with people who will hinder your growth and keep you from moving forward.


This was never new for him as he had already faced countless trials and disappointments when he was growing up in his hometown.

Barber Mo expressed that ‘Rejection’ is not always bad but it is just a sign that, that way is not for you.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back out of that situation no matter how blind you go for as long as you are following what you believe is best then you are never lost, and maybe someday you will find the person who will support you and believe you and your vision.


So, take rejection as a positive thing and as a step moving forward, it is not the end… it is only just the beginning.

The man behind SKILLS was born and raised in Syria. Over 20 years of Barbering experience with the changing of styles and generation. In spite of the countless struggles and hardships throughout his life and career, this has never been a hindrance to him to reach his dreams.

SKILLS Barbershop is located in the Business Bay area in Dubai, at Clover Bay Tower, and is run by the Celebrity Barber, Mohamad Mir Ebrahim aka Barber Mo. With over 20 years of grooming experience, he has served a lot of celebrities, including from his list are Will Smith, Jay-Z, Diego Maradona, Sergi Constance, Kid Ink, P Money, MIMS, OB Obrien, Local and International DJ’s as well as some notable International athletes and personalities.
