The Founder of SKILLS Barbershop, Master Stylist Barber Mo, talks about the story of how he met and serve one of Hollywood’s All-Time Great Celebrity Artist, Willard Carroll Smith.

Back When Will Smith Was in Dubai
During the time of Will Smith’s stint in Dubai, our Master Stylist was able to serve the Hollywood Actor back in 2014. It was an inspirational story as everything happened like it was destined to be.
He was alongside his roommate on a Sunday Evening, watching the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” while the movie was running, Barber Mo kept on talking about how we would like to style Will Smith’s Hair as in the movie it was a little bit rough and round in texture, then his roommate berated him that Will Smith is a “Tall Guy” and you cannot reach him, forget about it on that he responded that, “When he will be sitting in my Barber Chair, We will be the same heights so I can do all the art and style that I like”, then his roommate just gave up and let him do all the fantasizing and imagining.

While watching the Movie, his Assistant called him and told, that he would need to serve one VVIP client for tomorrow, he responded: “Tomorrow is my off, You better make it worth for me if I am going to sacrifice my comfortability”, in which she responded “Don’t worry we will sort it out for you, but for now please prepare all the tools that is required by the guest and I will see you tomorrow at 10am in Burj Khalifa.
On that moment, he proudly told his friend, “Guess what, tomorrow I will serve Will Smith, because the assistant told me that I will serve a VVIP Client, and I am sure that that is Will Smith”. He then realized, I need to look presentable, I need to look my best because I am really going to Will Smith tomorrow, I need to go to the store before its closed so I can buy some nice clothes that can make me look like a person that he can be proud to take picture with.

After that, he went to Dubai Mall, went to the Louis Vuitton store, and he started to choose a clothe than can make him look presentable and make him look his best.
The First Meeting with Will Smith
Without knowing if he will be serving Will Smith or not, Barber Mo prepared himself fully that he really is going to serve him and he was that VVIP client, the evening passed he didn’t get much sleep due to much studying on his background and the type of things that he like to start up the conversation, time passed and it was morning, he pick up his things and he went straight to Burj Khalifa.
