GUIDANCE

Appointments, Consultation, Service Responsibility and Review Terms Issued by SKILLS Style Gents Salon LLC · Approved by Management

APPOINTMENTS AND CONFIRMATION

SKILLS operates through controlled appointment handling.

An appointment is secured only after the required advance payment has been completed. Until payment is received, the requested time remains pending confirmation and may return to availability.

The service, timing, practitioner level, expected duration, preparation requirements and payment amount will be confirmed through the SKILLS concierge before the appointment is secured.

Clients are advised to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time. Late arrival may require the service to be shortened, adjusted, postponed or cancelled to protect the appointments scheduled afterward.

PAID CONSULTATION

A consultation is paid professional assessment time. Once the physical assessment and professional direction have been completed, the consultation fee remains fully chargeable whether:

- The client proceeds with the service.
- The client decides not to proceed.
- SKILLS postpones or declines the requested service.
- The client is given a different or safer direction.
- The client requires time to consider the available options.

The consultation covers the professional time, assessment, observations, suitability decision and direction provided. It is not payment only for receiving the requested service.

Photographs, videos, calls and WhatsApp messages may assist the initial understanding, but they do not replace a physical assessment or confirm that a service is suitable.

Any service approved after consultation requires its own payment unless SKILLS has expressly confirmed that the consultation fee may be credited toward that exact service.

CONSULTATION VALIDITY

Consultation validity is based on how quickly the assessed condition may change.

Hair, Chemical, Braiding and Dreadlock Consultations

For hair treatments, colour, bleach, correction, keratin, protein, straightening, perming, braiding, dreadlocks and other chemical or technical hair services, an approved consultation direction remains valid for three calendar days.

Where SKILLS has expressly confirmed that the consultation fee may be credited toward the approved service, the client must confirm the service and complete the required payment within those three calendar days.

The consultation credit applies only to the exact service and direction approved during the assessment. It cannot be transferred to another service, another person or a different treatment direction. After three calendar days:

- The consultation remains fully chargeable.
- Any unused consultation credit expires.
- A new paid assessment is required before the service can be confirmed.

When SKILLS advises against proceeding because the hair is too short, chemically unstable, damaged, unable to support tension, or because the scalp appears fragile or unsuitable, the completed consultation remains fully chargeable.

A recommendation to return after one week, ten days or another stated period is professional guidance. It does not keep the original consultation open or convert its payment into future service credit. The condition must be reassessed when the client returns.

Scalp, Skin, Nail, Hand and Foot Consultations

Scalp, trichology, skin, facial, nail, hand and foot assessments remain valid for a maximum of 48 hours.

These visible conditions may change quickly through washing, scratching, medication, chemical cleansers, cosmetic products, home treatments, environmental exposure, irritation, fungal concerns, dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, acne or other changes in the presented condition.

The consultation is a separate and fully chargeable professional assessment. Any recommended treatment or service requires its own full payment.

The client has 48 hours to confirm that he wishes to proceed according to the direction provided. After 48 hours, or earlier when the condition has visibly changed, a new paid consultation is required before the treatment can be confirmed.

Chemical and Technical Services

Chemical and technical services require clear physical assessment before proceeding.
Before the service begins, the client must provide complete and accurate information about:

- Previous colour, bleach, highlights and chemical work.
- Keratin, protein, straightening, relaxing or perming.
- Previous treatments performed professionally or at home.
- Hair and scalp history.
- Allergies, sensitivities, medication and previous reactions.
- Lifestyle, washing habits, swimming, exercise and environmental exposure.
- Products, oils, masks, shampoos and styling products used at home.
- The client's normal styling and maintenance habits.

Clients are urged to listen carefully to the professional guidance provided and to disclose anything that may affect the service, its safety or the expected result.

SKILLS practitioners follow the required assessment, preparation and protection steps. Every approved service is performed through a professional method intended to protect the client's well-being and obtain the best result reasonably achievable from the condition presented.

During the service, the practitioner will explain any relevant condition, limitation, resistance, sensitivity or observation encountered through the hair or scalp.

After the service, the client will receive guidance covering washing, aftercare, styling, maintenance, product use and the correct handling of the treated hair.

RESULTS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Chemically treated hair cannot carry a guaranteed result.

Hair may behave differently according to its natural resistance, density, texture, previous chemical exposure, hidden history, scalp condition, maintenance, water, products, washing, heat, humidity, swimming, styling and lifestyle after leaving SKILLS.

SKILLS cannot guarantee:
- An exact level of straightness, curl or texture.
- Identical results between different clients.
- Identical results across hair with an uneven chemical history.
- A fixed period of durability.
- Zero reaction or sensitivity.
- How the hair will behave after future washing or styling.
- Suitability for future colour, bleach, straightening, perming or other chemical work.
- A result different from the professional direction explained before proceeding.

Before leaving SKILLS, the client must review the immediate result and clearly express any concern if the service does not appear to match the direction that was explained and agreed upon.

By leaving without raising an immediate visible concern, the client confirms that the result presented at the end of the appointment was reviewed with him.

This confirmation does not replace the limited post-wash review period explained below.

POST-SERVICE FOLLOW-UP AND 72-HOUR REVIEW

SKILLS may contact the client once after the service to confirm how the treated hair or scalp is responding.

Where the completed service requires the first advised wash before its settled result can be evaluated, any visible-result concern must be raised within 48 hours of that first wash and no later than 72 hours from completion of the service.

The maximum service-review window is 72 hours. When the client confirms during the follow-up that everything is satisfactory, the original service review is considered complete and closed from that moment.

When SKILLS receives no concern within 72 hours, the original service review is automatically considered complete and closed.

A concern involving the visible result, texture, straightness, curl, finish or durability cannot be assessed or corrected through photographs, videos, calls or WhatsApp messages alone.

The concern must be reported within the review window. SKILLS must then be given the opportunity to inspect the condition physically and determine whether any action is appropriate.

Reporting a concern does not automatically confirm fault and does not automatically entitle the client to:
- A refund.
- A complimentary correction.
- A repeat service.
- A different chemical service.
- Compensation or service credit.

Any action is decided only after physical reassessment of the hair or scalp, the aftercare followed, the products used and the condition presented.

Once the client has confirmed satisfaction, or the 72-hour period has passed without a reported concern, any later request is treated as a new matter requiring a new paid consultation.

The 72-hour closure applies to result, finish, durability and correction requests. Any genuine health or safety concern must be reported immediately and will be assessed separately.

Payment and Pricing

Service pricing is confirmed through the SKILLS concierge or during the consultation before proceeding.

Pricing may depend on the practitioner level, service complexity, hair length, density, condition, correction required, product use and time needed.

Advance payment may be required for consultations, chemical services, technical services, long-duration appointments, high-demand times and other appointments requiring protected preparation or capacity.

No appointment is confirmed until the required payment has been received.

Payment for one consultation, appointment or service cannot be transferred to another person or an unrelated service unless SKILLS expressly confirms otherwise before payment.

Rescheduling and Cancellation

Cancellations or rescheduling requested at least 12 hours before the appointment may be moved once to another available date or cancelled for an eligible refund.

Changes requested between 3 and 12 hours before the appointment are non-refundable. The payment may be transferred once to another available appointment for the same service.

Changes requested less than 3 hours before the appointment are subject to a charge equal to 50% of the booked service value. The remaining 50% may be transferred once toward the same rescheduled service.

A client who does not attend the appointment and does not notify SKILLS is considered a no-show.

A no-show results in 100% of the appointment payment being retained. A new advance payment is required before another appointment can be confirmed.

Where late arrival leaves insufficient time to perform the service safely or without affecting the next client, the appointment may need to be cancelled and handled under the applicable late-cancellation terms.

Any permitted transfer must be used for the same client and the same confirmed service. It cannot be converted into cash, transferred to another person or applied toward an unrelated service.

Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method and may require up to seven business days to appear, depending on the payment provider.

POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The SKILLS Client Guidance link is shared before or together with the payment step.

Completion of the required payment confirms that the client has received the guidance, had the opportunity to review it and accepts the appointment, consultation, cancellation, service responsibility and review terms applicable to the confirmed service.

Service Protocol

All SKILLS services follow controlled internal standards.

Treatment plans are condition-led, not menu-selected.

Timing depends on the selected service, consultation depth, hair or scalp condition, required detail, and the level of correction involved.

Hair transplant clients, sensitive scalp cases, chemically treated hair, damaged hair, and corrective cases are accepted only after proper assessment and when the condition is suitable.

The team may adjust, delay, refuse, or redirect a service when the condition does not support the requested result safely or professionally.

Hygiene and Safety

All tools are sterilized between clients.

Single-use blades are standard. Stations are cleaned and prepared between every client.

Product handling follows controlled hygiene standards.

Towels, capes, equipment, and service areas are managed with professional hygiene discipline.

Lounge Environment

SKILLS is designed as a calm adult grooming environment.

Clients are requested to keep voice level controlled and respect the privacy, comfort, and focus of other clients. Smart elegant or smart casual appearance is expected.

Children under 16 are not permitted inside the lounge to preserve the atmosphere, focus and service environment.

Guests

Each client may bring one guest only, subject to space and lounge conditions.

The guest must remain seated, respect the atmosphere, and avoid interfering with the service, team, or other clients.

SKILLS may limit guests during busy periods or private client visits.

Privacy and Discretion

Client information is handled with discretion.

High-profile visits are not publicized.

Client records are maintained securely and are not shared externally.

Photography, video, and client content are handled only with clear permission.

Photography and Filming

SKILLS protects the privacy of all clients inside the lounge.

Clients are not permitted to film, photograph, livestream, vlog, or record inside the premises without approval from management.

This includes social media content, professional recording, promotional filming, and commercial content.

If SKILLS captures content for internal documentation, education, or marketing, the client preference will be respected. Clients may inform the team if they do not wish to appear in any content.

Service Feedback and Concerns

At the end of the service, the stylist will check the result with the client before completion.

The concierge or team may also confirm the client experience before payment.

Any concern should be raised during the visit so the team can assess and assist immediately.

SKILLS can address visible concerns most effectively on the spot. Once the client leaves, hair, scalp, skin, styling, aftercare, climate, product use, and time can all affect the result.

Service concerns raised after leaving may require a new assessment before any action is confirmed.

Parking and Arrival

Clients are advised to allow enough time for parking and building access before the appointment.

Parking availability may vary depending on the time of day, building traffic, and surrounding area conditions.

Late arrival caused by parking or building access delays may still affect the appointment timing, especially during busy service days.

Right to Protect the Standard

SKILLS reserves the right to decline, delay, stop, or redirect a service when the situation may affect safety, privacy, team dignity, service quality, or the experience of other clients.

Disrespectful behavior, aggressive language, pressure toward staff, inappropriate recording, refusal to follow service guidance, or disruption of the lounge atmosphere may result in service being discontinued.

SKILLS protects clients, staff, and the standard equally.
